The company has full Static, Dynamic and Horizontal Curve Analysiscapabilities using a mixture of in-house-developed and commercial software. These programs, including the in-house-developed Dynamic Analysis Program BeltDYN, have been used successfully in the design and trouble shooting of a large number of conveyors. The company also has experience in the successful implementation of most drive technologies from Medium Voltage, Variable Speed AC to Fixed Fill Fluid Couplings.

We also have extensive site experience and have been heavily involved in Commissioning, Trouble Shooting and Failure Analysis.

The company has pioneered in Australia the use of Discrete Element Modelling for Transfer Chute Design.

DEM enables quantitative evaluation of transfer designs before manufacture and installation.
The technology has been used for both hard rock and coal applications encompassing a wide variety of complicated geometry.

Apart from assisting with design, the DEM technology can also be used to assess the feasibility of upgrades, where a bottleneck at a transfer could result in under utilization of a significant associated investment.

Tech Training Australia Pty Ltd is running Conveyor Design Consultants of WA’s popular 4 day Practical Belt Conveying Course in Brisbane, Australia. This is a training course for those in the mining and related industries wishing to improve their knowledge of Conveyor Design, and understand the problems associated with these complex systems.
